    Along the lines of the article, I have totally seen a bunch of airlines recently invest in new planes, so I guess that is a reason for the existence of pricey airfares. However, like you mentioned, skyscanner is my saviour…and I have been able to get significantly lower fares in the last year for transatlantic trips. The first two times I travelled from Europe to North America, I paid over $1000 CAD. The past two times, I’ve paid around or under $700 CAD.

  2. Thank you for your comment, I hope these airlines are replacing these old planes, especially Spirit, lol, but it seems as though fares have been bumped up $100 each way, what a racket when fuel is down in cost😫 oh well I appreciate your comment .
